ENAC licence: since 30 August 2022, ENAC has accepted online language proficiency tests run by Language Testing Bodies approved by EASA states under FCL.055, provided the candidate’s identity, security and confidentiality are ensured. Our test is run with LTB 112, certified by Austro Control GmbH (Austria): details and sources.
After the test, you send the certificate to ENAC to have the level endorsed on your licence: step-by-step guide.
Licence from another EASA state: the level is endorsed by the authority that issued your licence, not by ENAC. Submit the certificate to that authority, following its procedure. If in doubt, ask that authority first which documents it needs.
Student pilot: you will need the certificate for the issue of your licence. Give it to your flight school and ask them how to include it with your application.
In the test, instead of the ATIS task, you listen to a short story and answer two questions.
Living or flying abroad: calendar times are Italian time, so convert them to your time zone before booking. You join on Zoom from any country and receive the certificate by email – no need to travel to Italy for the test.
For the endorsement on your ENAC licence, the usual procedure applies.

The total price, including any surcharges (e.g. on public holidays), is shown in the calendar before you confirm. You pay straight away by PayPal or credit card. The calendar and the confirmation email are in English; some texts in the eTermin calendar and some other automatic emails may appear in Italian or German. Contract language: German. The German text of the terms (AGB) is binding; the English terms are a translation for information purposes (terms, section 11).

What happens after booking
- Right after booking: a confirmation with the Zoom link, then an email asking for a copy of your ID and the privacy form, plus a link to enter your details in the exam system.
- Test within 14 days of booking? Tick the box for performance during the withdrawal period in the booking form, or tell us by email before the test: without this request we cannot hold the test within the 14 days. Details
- On test day: join 5 minutes early and have your ID and – if you have one – your licence ready.
- After the test: result and certificate by email within 24 hours, usually on the same day.
- For your ENAC licence: send the certificate to ENAC by PEC (certified email) for the endorsement. How it works

How can I pay?
By PayPal or credit card, right when you book: your slot is confirmed as soon as the payment is complete. The total price, including any surcharges (e.g. on public holidays), is shown in the calendar before you confirm.
Can I reschedule or cancel my slot?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours before – use the link in your confirmation email, or email or call us. After that, the full fee is due. If you have not joined the meeting within 15 minutes of the start time, you lose the slot. Terms and conditions
Are the calendar times Italian time?
Yes. Germany and Italy share the same time zone, so the times you see are Italian time. If you live abroad, convert them to your local time before booking.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You only enter the details needed for your appointment and payment – no registration.
What if I do not reach Level 4?
It stays between us: we send nothing to ENAC. You can book again whenever you like. If you first want to know where you stand, try the PreCheck or a training session.
