Information on the language proficiency test

GAT – German Aviation Training organises the tests and handles booking, payment and candidate support. The ICAO language proficiency tests are conducted as the “ICAO Level” test of the language testing body (LTB) LTB 112, Leonding (Austria), which carries out the second assessment and issues the certificate.

LTB 112 is certified and supervised by the Austrian aviation authority Austro Control GmbH, Schnirchgasse 17, 1030 Vienna, Austria. The examiners are certified by Austro Control as Language Proficiency Examiners (LPE) and conduct the tests within and under the supervision of LTB 112: Tim Hittinger (A-126-LPE), Johannes Schmelz (A-143-LPE) and Jan Westphal (A-187-LPE). GAT is not a centre certified directly by ENAC. The certificate can be used for an ENAC licence under the conditions published by ENAC; the final decision on the endorsement rests with ENAC. Details and official sources

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in alternative dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body (ADR body).

For help with cross-border disputes within the European Union, consumers can contact the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net).
